I don't know what's the fixation Madrid has with Bale. You already have a carbon copy of him, only better. Two selfish, me-first, shoot-first-pass-second, high transfer guys on the same team is a recipe for disaster.

Specially if Madrid are going to continue to play a 4-2-3-1 or move to Ancelotti's 4-3-2-1 they need wingers to play more like wing attacking midfielders and you already have Ronaldo who doesn't play like that and want to replace Di Maria who does fit that, for another less talented Ronaldo who also doesn't play like that. Mind boggling.

They would be monumentally better getting a dynamic CF like Suarez, and getting a right winger/right attacking midfielder who has more ball control and plays more collectively. They should have bought Jesus Navas or David Silva.

Bale is a downright horrible transfer for them. It hurts Isco, Benzema, Di Maria, Morata, and Jese while giving little to no plus side. Yes Bale is a good player but unbelievably unnecessary, their squad is at it's best right now and bringing in a massive Galactico like him will only screw up the balance. They won't drop more points out of it or anything, but the future players they worked so hard to acquire/develop will be left out and forgotten. It'll be funny to see them waste all that money, but kind of sad to see guys like Isco/Jese stop developing their amazing talent because of one transfer.

He's so bad as a striker. His limited technical abilities will be shown up quite easily and he has already acknowledged his preference to play as a winger. It's downright ridiculous to displace Ronaldo from his best position for Bale. The only option would be to sell Ronaldo after a year with the next one just being a transitional period for Bale.

Actually, their squad looks to have poor balance atm. I know it's early days still but Ozil on the right is not looking too well for them. Isco and Ozil should fight for one spot or Isco should be the false 9.

Still, if Ozil doesn't work that well on the right then they still have Di Maria/Jese for that position while Ozil and Isco fight for the middle or as you said he shifts to a false 9. Bringing in Bale doesn't help anyone and just makes it difficult for their newer players to break into the team.
