Gerard Deulofeu

Jese is also very limited like Deulofeu and many Madrid fans are annoyed at his decisions, both now seem to have been so overhyped.

Yea, I somewhat agree. Jesus Navas-like, he is also a limited player in the sense that he rarely does something you don't expect. Halilovic is different. More intelligence in his game, which makes him more impredictible and harder to stop.

Starting against Arsenal. During his loan spell he had his best performances against them so maybe he'll have a good game today.

Nice assist from him. His game awareness seems to have made improvements and he is noticeably more defensive but he still has moments where he tries to go Messi and fails.

Nice assist? Wasnt it basically a standard pass to Barkley, which somehow found the back of the net with some stumbling and deflection?

You can consider it a standard pass but it's one our players fail to make constantly, especially this season. The way the goal was scored doesn't concern me, as that rains on Barkley's parade, and I don't care about him even a little bit.

Deulofeu played very well. Rarely watch him nowadays but if this is his usual level, he has definitely improved and matured from 1 year ago. Still, his career choices are questionable at best. Why did he join Everton instead of a La Liga team where he would get more playing time and play in a less chaotic system? Just because Everton fans treated him well 2 years ago... silly.

I think it is all about the coach tbh ,would you prefer to work with a boss you trust who believe in you or go to unknown one just after being treated you aren't even there in Sevilla?
He wouldn't have took that risk twice tbh even though it was gonna be the perfect place for him is Liga
Also I think apart of it is that he has moved on from trying to just prove himself to Barca to get a career .in Everton he will have a long term contract and probably better wage than Liga .if it happens that he impresses Barca then gr8.if not then he isn't just holding himself just for that hope
