Gerard Deulofeu

Trequartista

The good
He is having a very good second half but not liking him on the right,he is more like Antonio Valencia when he plays there, always trying to dribble with his right foot, making crosses, rarely cutting in,his 2 markers cant get the ball from him still but his movements is quite predectible,so he would be better on the left imowith improving his left foot
His teammates dont pass the ball to someone selse really, what a personality

spain is losing, but the boy is having a wonderful game, he is unmarkable
I don't agree with you. Sure, he's been the stand out spanish player, and has had a fair deal of neat tricks and dribbles, but he's also been way too selfish. On many occasions he has held up play completely, followed by a dribble instead of passing sooner and thus keeping the momentum in the spanish play. If he were to play like this under Pep, he'd be in for a seriously rude awakening.

1-1 SWEET!

Spain midfield is so shite, they just feed Deulofeu and they are waiting... good they equalized, that wont happen under Pep cos we have good midfield and Deulofeu would be just one part of the team

Point taken.
I'd still like to see how he'd link up in the lightening quick pass 'n' move we practice. He sure as hell possesses the talent though.

You have to take into account that Gerard is two years younger than most of the other players therefore his performance is all the more remarkable. Said that some good midfield players like Espinosa or Rafa would surely helped their cause here and ended the game sooner

Amazing pace and dribbling skills.

Poor decision making. He must learn when to pass the freakin' ball, and when to retain it and try and beat his marker.

Congrats to the Spaniards for yet another triumph.

They are now European Champions in the U-19, U-21 and in the actual category as well.

when he game IQ gets better it going to be game over, he should get a crash course in that by playing with the b team, as defenders in the segunda will break his legs if he constantly tries to dibble pass them.

but it needs to be kept in mind that he was turned 17 in march.

yeah, if he brings this into top level it´s really game over, we are soooooo lucky we have this jewel but people in la masia should really treat him very well, he is just 17 and I dont want to end this in GDS, Ceballos way because his talent is endless
