We can't promote him to the 1st team this easy and suddenly, It's his first year in segunda, He already has some ego issues, And promoting him this quickly, Will only aggravate the problem, We need to take it slowly with him, Or we'll end up with someone like cristiano in our squad.

I am wary of Gerard's ego too, but this comparison with Cronaldo is pointless as I see it. Deulofeu is growing within the club, watching his idols play, training with and being mentored by them, and is inevatibly going to be playing alongside them regularly. He won't become the star of the squad within 3-4 years like Cristiano did. Sure, he could eventually become one of the stars, but he'll be in the shadow of the likes of Messi - just as he should.

When that is said, I don't think he should be promoted next summer, unless if course Tito surprises us all and starts playing him more during the coming half of the ongoing season. He should have a transition season just like Pedro had in 08/09, where he'll feature in 20 games or so, mostly from the bench. The season after that, he'd be ready to make the final step up. Whether this is good enough for Deulo, I don't know, but I do believe both Tito, the board and the player himself knows the plan, and are taking it a step at a time.

And guys want Neymar whose ego is 10 times Deulofeu.

It's understandable why Neymar might have an ego, he''s actually done something with his career and is Brazil's best hope of winning the next WC, but wtf Gerard done to have his? Fuck all.

Neymar hasn't done anything besides score against a bunch of 4th division teams in the Sao Paulo state league in Brazil.

There's nothing worrying about him refusing the first offer. It's pretty much the first rule of negotiation.

He's from Catalunya, he's been with the club since he was a kid, he's ain't going anywhere.

Fuck all is very strong, this is what he's done all before the age of 19:

Spain U19 - UEFA U-19 Championship: 2011, 2012

Spain U17 - UEFA U-17 Championship: Runner-up 2010

Individual - UEFA U-19 Championship Golden Player: 2012

Oh and he's currently leading Segunda in goals with 12.

The thing is,playing him in second division more than that is pointless ,he is already one of the best player there, already been playing in a higher level that them that will be a waste of year, yes he will need to be eased in the rotation with first team ,but not with Barca B ,this just waste of time, team like Valencia already wanted him last summer on loan, half of Liga teams would take him this January on loan ,If he isn't getting promoted then loan him to one of those teams and stop wasting the kid development
