Would generally agree with you but think Xavi just wanted to give a rest to Garcia and Araujo who were both carrying a knock so no need to risk them in a game that was almost decided at HT. And pretty sure Pique wouldn't get full 45 minutes either if Roberto wouldn't have discomforts at HT (given his injury history over last two years made sense not to risk him) or if Bellerin would be on the bench and ready to play.

It's clear Pique is nothing more than a 5th CB which is all we can ask for. He'll still get some minutes here and there. Don't mind him getting 30-45 minutes at the end of every 5th-6th game when we're up by 3 goals. Especially with 5 subs rule when we can at the same time also give playing time to other bench players as well. Will really only be upset if he'd suddenly start games again but don't expect it to happen unless we'd have a really bad injury crisis at CB.
