But Puyol doensn't play every game. So Pique doensn't have anyone to rely on buy himself. He tends to underperform most of the times when he is not with Puyi.

I cant find a word to describe how bad he was tonight. Why did he make that tackle when Ronaldo wasnt in a position to score? This is basic stuff for a defender. The third goal was also his fault. Looked like fell asleep. We need a new CB who can lead the defence. Pique cant do that

He should know that staying on his feet is the best way to stop Cristina especially in flanked situations like that one... And that corner was just cringe worthy! Varane raised with such calm and ease it's not even funny... Meanwhile Piqué was nowhere to be found and trying to play the ball instead of playing the man, absolute disaster...

God he had one bad game, what's the matter with you people? Why is no one complaining about Puyol? He was even worse IMO. Every time an agile player like Di Maria or Cristiano goes 1 on 1 vs. Puyol it's safe to say they're gonna win it. He made two huge mistakes and no one dares to say a word about him.

That tackle was completely reckless and unnecessary. Once Madrid had the lead the game was set up for them perfectly. He needs a leader in defence beside him next season. On his day Pique is one of the best defenders in the world but he needs somebody beside him to keep him on his toes.

I blame him for the slide tackle, was rather uneccesary he had dragged him away from the goal
