As long as he keeps to his feat he's an amazing defender

That statement is oxymoronic. Being good in the air is one of the primary requirements of being an amazing CB. A defender who cannot judge sliding tackles against certain players cannot be classified amazing.

It's like saying as long as Crouch can convert crosses, he's an amazing forward. I'm exaggerating but the point is clear.

He got beaten by varane and ramos in the air, While he stood looking like a 5 year old girl, He's given the task to guard the most dangerous spot in corners, He's supposed to be our safe valve, But what happened didn't show some one who took the responsibility seriously enough, The only thing he cared about is not messing up his hair.
If guardiola was here, He would've benched him for several games without hesitation.

The thing about Pep that he never think twice about benching any under performer. And so far, the players with the " ideal XI " that plays all the important games gave them the thought of them having a soft place in the team even if they don't play well.

So it's Shakira fault and he's the next Torres? We're reaching here, how about he is the only freaking tall defender who has to cover 5 tall players in the box on all set pieces. Who's fault is that?

That's an excellent point, Specially with pique, He already have a history when it comes to losing focus on football.

Exactly. Every headed goal, the player has a running jump and Pique has to move late otherwise Cristiano is lurking behind or Pepe or Ramos. Its the same thing with Busquets having to cover galaxies of space thanks to two attacking full backs. The whole system is broken defensively but we only see the individual break downs. It must be said for all of Madrid's tall players they concede more goals from corners than us. Zonal Marking can work but we don't have Abidal or any tall forwards like Ibra or Henry .

Pique: "Barça fans use to be pessimistic. Those who are, better give ticket away. Tomorrow we need 90.000 people who believe we can do it."

Wise words from Pique. Seems like every player/coach/fan is truly dedicated to making this happen and will treat this game with more urgency than even a final. We all need to stand together tomorrow and pray for the win. We haven't lost yet and we still have the ability to come back from this. It's not over until it's over.

Seriously needs to stop ball watching and be a bit more resolute, thought when he goes in for a tackle these days he fucks things up even worse. Overall good game though.

Very proud of him. He was a little iffy with his decisions here and there but overall came through for us when we needed him, and also displayed a lot of leadership and wisdom with that press conference yesterday.
