How come so few people notice that tall players seem slower than short ones? With very few exceptions (Mathieu, for example). Tall players need fewer steps to cover the same distance. Usually they only seem slower. Or, to put it differently, they don't seem as fast.

Mathieu should definitely improve those numbers, but on the other hand, that only shows Piqué is a better passer not a better CB...

If I'm not mistaken, balls lost refers to getting dispossessed. If so, that has little to do with passing. If not, then my bad.
