Tata lives in a world where rules of football state

1. You cant make subs before 75th min
2. You have to play big names in spite of performance
3. You play with intensity only against strong teams
4. You dont ask your RB to stop putting in crosses for midgets

So was todays performance one of the seven remaining finals in the league that Tata was talking about?

Probably why his response to questions about fulfilling his contract are usually so lukewarm, I get the impression he's exhausted from the fishbowl that is Spanish football...Don't blame him but this is part of being a Barcelona coach and another reason why he hasn't been up to the challenge really

Seriously why didn't Cesc and Neymar come in around 60th min? The game was on edge and our mid was slacking in second half. Still a pet peeve for me.

I pray Tata proves once more he is the coach for Barca in the "big" games so as the Atletico match will be and somehow get us through.

The worrying fact is that since the debut of 2014 we struggle against weaker / usual teams and typically the wins against these teams bring La Liga trophy. I hope the team won't flop now at the very end.

1. I would like some subs earlier too, but that's nothing new, both Pep and Tito weren't fans of early subs either... And we have to consider we don't have the strongest bench right now...
2. Iniesta was benched for a big portion of the season and Pedro is being benched a lot right now, and as in the previous item, big names are pretty much our only reliable players...
3. I think this is more on the players than Tata, they are the ones on the pitch, and I highly doubt Tata tells them: "Yeah man, lets take it easy against Betis, they suck"...
4. Are you 100% sure Tata is the one instructing Alves to cross mindlessly?

If everything is on the players why have a manager at all and pay him millions? A manager has to take responsibility for his team

1. Yeah wait until 75th minute to sub on shitty Alexis for godly Cesc. What a weak bench
2. Watch him play Cesc again vs Atletico even after what happened last time. He is Tito 2.0. Same "big names" lineup every game. My grandmother could do better tactics
3. A coach is responsible for his players intensity. If he has guts (which he doesnt) he will clamp down on players taking it easy and play the hungrier players. Every big name has a assured spot in our team. Till their spot is threatened nothing will change
4. Everybody and their grandmother is fed up with Alves crosses. Yeah he doesnt ask Alves to cross but its his job to stop asking him to do that. But i suspect he is too timid to ask the big name player(Alves) to change his play.

You may not want to admit these things, but they are most probably right. If Mourinho hadnt created a permanent enmity between us i would have liked him to manage us. He would have the balls to deal with the big names and their big egos at our club
