How about Paco Jemez?

Playing always true to his style with Rayo, I can only imagine what he'd do with a talented squad like Barca... plus he's got BALLS!!

Just found a Klopp statement about the Barca rumour:

''This is cool. Barcelona is a very big club but unfortunately I don't have time for that.''

We just got friendzoned

Noooooooooooooooooooooooo, aleast Dortmund is my second team so I can still back a Klopp coached team.

For those with short memory; Rosell didn't have a lot of choice when Tito suffered a relapse at the end of pre-season. Tata was a reasonable choice at the time and most of the fans supported it.

Obvioulsy, he could have done better but let's not throw dirt just for the sake of it.

He plays some good attacking football at Rayo and works with a small budget. However he's at the helm of a team that has conceded 70 goals in 33 games, his style of management is very 'hail mary'. If you want Jemez you're asking for (even more) defensive instability and an 'all in' gambler.

There were options, but not with the profile rosell wanted.

Yeah, Rayo concede many goals due to individual errors. No wonder as they are by far the poorest club in La Liga.

I believe he could do wonders with a squad like Barca's. Of course our defense would have to be improved by at least 2 world class players (CB and RB)

And he'd light a fire under everbody's ass!

I wonder if he's lost the dressing room. And I wonder if that has something to do with the senior players making demands (rumours about Xavi not being ok with the more direct approach) and wanting too much power... I really hope that's not the case, but I'm scared it might be. In which case we might be looking at something similar to what happened with Guti and Raul - though first we'd of course need a coach who's got the authority to lay down the law.

Again, I really hope that my fears are unfounded. But I cannot but fear.

Actually I think that he's a very good coach, but it was a too big step for him to go to Barcelona as a first club in Europe.
I appreciate him, and was very happy after our solid performances against the likes of ManCity and Real Madrid, but he made too much mistakes (Real Sociedad, Cesc as a starter). He wasn't helped by the staff and the atmosphere around the club, too much pressure and problems and this is everything but easy.

He'll be gone this summer. I have no idea of who should replace him, I hope that it won't be any of Lucho or Valverde ; there will always be comparisons with Pep and I don't think that it's the best solution.
We need a coach with true ideas and who can bring the players he wants.

I don't think Tata is even that bothered now. He knows he's offski at the end of the season regardless of what happened tonight. I know it's easy for a lot of us to say inn hindsight that he wasn't the right man for the job but most of us knew F*** ALL about him to begin with.

Our next coach should be someone with vision and big enough shoulders to carry the burden of such a huge club. As Pep was when he was first appointed. Someone with the following attributes :

- Understands and respects Barcelona's history, values and style of play
- Strength of Character (Leadership and stoicism)
- Who learns from his mistakes
- Will earn/demand respect from his playing staff
- Recognises the strengths of each individual and play them in their rightful position
- Will develop and give the youth academy opportunities in the first team
- Ensure that players do what is required of them or face the consequences
- Build a well-balanced and competitive squad
- Ship out the players that are no longer cutting it
- Play players on merit and form, not based on financial or marketing reasons
- Bring back Tiki-Taka
- Have a Plan B, Plan C if necessary. (This could include using a tall No.9 for final 20-30 mins of matches and playing Messi in behind if deadlock hasn't been broken.)
- Is a wise tactician and doesn't rely on the same strategy against every opponent and make subs with enough time to make an impact
- Is not afraid to drop "Big Names" if they aren't performing/doing as instructed
- Make training and playing matches fun and exciting
- Restore pride to Barcelona and Catalunya

Only Guardiola and Mourinho (the 2 bests in the world) can do all of that.
And there's no way we'll get any of them…
