I still don't hold anything against him. He tried risks and they failed, but there's no shame in that, he just got it wrong. He was also dealing with some insane off the pitch bullshit this season. Even Pep would have struggled. Despite it we beat Real home and away and convincingly beat Man City. We're only just now out of all the competitions which is actually quite decent - most teams would have imploded already (Madrid last year).

On a sporting level the Barca job might have been a bit too much for him. On a personal level I still like him. He's honest and looks like an honourable man who will call it quits voluntarily.

I can agree with this. He seems like a very genuine and humble guy. The kind of personality that you would love to have as a manager.

Unfortunately on a sporting level, he was way out of his depth.

I actually thought it was great that Bartomeu said that he still has faith in Tata, even-though it is evident that Tata is going to walk away. The Barca job will open doors for him and he will likely get some solid offers from other clubs.

I wish him the best and I hope he succeeds.

He is a good guy who walked into the job at a very bad time.credit to him he tried to change things and introduce a few tweaks.

Yup exactly this. Had no say in the team personel, didn't get to bring any players in except Neymar but we subtracted Thiago, Villa and Abidal.

Yeah I agree. Tata had the boldness to come in and implement his own/an evolution to Barca's style but we'll never know the full potential of it since he wasn't allowed to fully manage due to the board and certain players. He was bound to have some setbacks since he had no European experience, of course, but due to the situation at the club everything was against him. Shame because in the first few weeks of his tenure I thought that he was a great fresh mind to change things up at Barca and improve on the glaring problems (I am sure he would have bought a CB for example had he been given free rein).

Agree. He lost his way because of many issues-mainly off field issues. Disappointed he didn't have the gumption to tackle the press, players and board but I can understand why. Its not easy when you're new, alone and no one has your back. I wish he had won at least one PROPER trophy in his stint here.

I don't mind if Tata stay for another season. He had his share of mistakes but I don't believe he was the most responsible for how the club lost almost everything in all competitions in one week. He had to face such an odd amount of on and off the pitch troubles in his first year (Neymar saga, Rosell resignation, transfer ban, Messi saga, Valdes injury, CBs injuries...) it's insane. I'm not sure any other coaches could make any significant differences if he was in Tata's shoes. Ofc he has to take the blame for some of his shortcomings, but looking at so many issues surronding the team in the second half of the season I find his job quite more difficult than we all expected him to handle.

However, I give a fair chance he end up as the Argentina's coach after the world cup. So I'll give it a 30% chance he stay at Barca.

I wouldn't mind if this guy gets fired now. . . Nice guy, but should never be allowed to coach Barcelona ever again.

Tata please stay.
I cant believe somebody actually wants him to stay after all this shit we went through because of his idiotic tactics and lack of ability to draw conclusions of past mistakes
