That's my point though.
This style of play is really dependent on the players pressing like madmen and to do that they also need to be rotated effectively to be able to keep up their fitness levels.
When they cannot do it this can get easily exploited, and there's a clear lack of control.
Would be better if Flick calmed it down in games like these considering we literally cannot rotate Raphinha and Lamine much as Ferran and Ansu are a waste of squad space for the most part.
That's a valid point.
We need more depth to support Hansi's high-energy style of play.
The board should seriously look into the January market for smart and cheap acquisitions
Something both Deco and Laporta have proven totally incapable of doing
That said, saying that we should have an 'alternative' way of playing that involves slow buildup is totally NONSENSE
No coach can change the team's identity into something else.
Did you ever see Klopp changing from high-tempo end to end to slow buildup when he had a bad run of games?
Did you ever see Pep doing the same and moving away from his slow buildup?
NEVER
What they did is simply re-inforce their basic principles and did better what they used to do anyway
This whole discussion about having alternative styles of play is propagated by the typical BF user, who has no clue about real football and coaching, and comes up with nonsensical BS to fight his annoyance every time team doesn't play well
There is no Flick-ball together with slow buildup. If you wanted to see slow buildup look at how last season looked under Xavi
