Just out of curiosity, how many players in the top 3 leagues have better numbers than Lewa and Raphinha after half a season? It is very likely that our forwards have the best output so far, no?

How many goals does Nunez have? Or Jota? Or Diaz? Ok, Salah is probably best overall player in the post Messi era, but who else gets these amazing numbers consistently?

What exactly is the comparison? Some utopic striker that doesn't exist, couldn't afford him even if he did exist, and is gonna bag 40-50 goals a season?

Don't you think it's a bit extreme? If you scored by far the most goals, and you are on course for 70something points the likely scenario is that the problem lies elsewere.

Is there any team in the top leagues that scored as much as us? Lets count even the legues having shite defenses like Bundesliga. How many goals does Kane have? How about Olise, Coman, and Sane?

You don't think Lewandowski's disappearing form every year is a problem? @serghei

I am more in the line that all forwards have periods like that. Not that it's great that Lewandowski is having shit periods of form.

Haaland is like that, Mbappe been a target for jokes here... not like there's some prime Messi to score goals for fun lying around for us to sign.

Lewa will improve after a few weeks rest.

He should have scored a goal or two the last few games, but not the end of the world.

Sometimes your defense needs to win you games, when your striker is off form and that's not happening.

That's the bigger issue to me.

Haaland, Barca's current dream signing has disappeared for far longer than RL9 despite being in his physical prime.

When the team plays shit, everybody suffers. We have had patches under Klopp when we were struggling for top 4(when VVD was injured) and people said Salah was declining/finished.

Haven't watched Barca games lately. I'll catch the next few games and make a better assessment. Can't comment on what the problem is rn because I'm kinda clueless about Barca's recent games.

Sure, but he goes disappearing for large periods of the season every year he's been here. We have him this season, but he need to be gone next summer with a replacement brought in. You cannot have a 37 year old striker lead your line.

Obviously there are other issues at the club and team right now with the amount of stupid chances they concede, but Lewandowski is definitely a problem and will be if they don't make an effort to replace him next summer.

Not so sure looking at other 9s in the top teams. Quite poor this season.

They have those numbers despite their poor quality, because of the system, not because they are Ronaldinho and Gerd Muller. There are so many dumb takes about our drop in results. We play the same but our mediocre team got bogged down as expected. Mediocre team built by Xavi.

Not saying he should be sacked, but no other manager has been given this much leeway.
It's like the joke on Michael Jackson accusations "but he made Thriller."

Same for Flick - "but he trashed Real Madrid at Bernabeu."

The situation is boiling, but it's not that desperate. I feel the team has a character under Flick. Tough games we are able to strike hard, but La Liga this season is too much schizo.

 We beat Madrid 4-0, the system is amazing. We get dominated by Celta, Sociedad and Betis, the players are bad.

Is that how it goes for you?

You don't understand football and it's a waste of time. Probably from Eastern Europe too after the quality of your logic.
To get those results with mediocre players you need to play at 120% so it's natural the decline will come after a while vs small teams.
Or you think Celta is better than Real?
