Arsenal fans have invaded our club, no wonder barto could ruin us.

If we don't get rid of them we'll become, soon spurs fan will invade, then dortmund fans.

Then we'll be losing for years and constantly coming up with excuses and saying we'll we played good football.

Arsenal fans go home yah bastards.

Not true at all imo. We won't tolerate any prolonged periods of no titles. It's just not possible for us to turn into Arsenal, Tottenham, or United.

If you think about it, even Koeman won a title here in his only 1.5 seasons in charge.

The club can't just sit and watch Madrid winning stuff. Not possible. In fact, it's quite the opposite situation to some EPL teams who invest hugely only to settle for mediocre results. We lack the investments to match our pressure to win titles that would make the balance fairer and more reasonable.

We need to separate between the early phase of a project which is the current situation with Flick, and something like ETH who was going nowhere despite plenty of time and money being poured into his side.

The club is never going to back Flick long term if years into his stint we'll continue to lose many points vs midtable or worse teams.

Only thing can save him is a run in the CL and the league even if he doesn't win it.

If he continues this BS run for much longer and crashed out in the CL.

People will start saying Germany is the true him and Bayern was a COVID dream.

Anyway, overall point is you can't sack Flick even if he has mixed results short term if we keep playing well vs big teams. This shows a lot of potential for me going forward. Would be myopic to sack him based on some flukes vs Leganes and Palmas.

On the flip side, he is not immune to criticism. He has to upgrade our defense because it is poor, has to keep players motivated and in great fitness basically non stop for his approach to work, needs to be inspired with the few signings we are gonna make into the future. Lots of things he needs to get right, or the path forward is not clear.

Our performances vs big teams so far have been solid enough that if they continue we can go all the way in CL. There is only Liverpool atm that we would probably lose against in CL based on the games that have been played so far. And in this format, we are likely to be on opposite halves in the knockout phase.

Defense is the biggest problem after that the striker position.

In the last games there's always been stupid goals, gifting many players that other teams have kept at 0 their first goal. That's not a dominant and world class team except to retards playing fifa, because you can't just score more goals at this level every time. You're making it so easy.

It's good that this arrogant offensive centric style gets punished. It doesn't work. It shouldn't work. It won't work.

Arsenal is not 2nd in the UCL and they are not a threat to league leaders Liverpool. Not even their football is anything special.

When you play very good football and the results are okay you're ought to give your coach a chance. That's different to Arsenal which has terrible results with no trophies in ages and their football is solid.

For his debut season, I'd sign up for that any day. We badly need to make the next step in CL. We got close last season, but not close enough.

We can't count on CL final, because despite the format change,
there are high chances we encounter early a strong team

Because some did poorly in the league phase, like City or PSG or Madrid
combined with this flipping of the bracket thing based on a draw

Right now it's very likely we finish 2nd.
It is also likely we have to face the winner of the 15/16 versus 17/18
which can be something like Madrid/Feyenoord vs City/PSG

If we get City for instance in R16 I would not be so confident

There's a chance City recover, but atm they are not even sure they qualify. But even if they qualify, if Brighton can shred their defense, I like our chances.

I'd actually prefer to avoid compact counter attacking sides like Inter, Madrid and Atletico. I much prefer to play teams with a bad defense like City or any German side. EPL sides are also nice except for Liverpool for us.

I am also worried of Courtois and Oblak producing some clutch performance in a CL tie. Let's not pretend a world class keeper is not a big weapon to have in cups just because we are used to having a terrorist in goal.

I would prefer any team except Pool who are clearly the best side around at the moment out of a lot of meh ones. Oh and Simeone because his shithousing is annoying in the CL.

RM is better than us personnel wise by a lot but we typically have their number. Inter and Bayern are also 50/50.

Arsenal is never beating us.
