MSN has a bucket load of 1-0 wins, this is true.

2-1
1-0

Is the back bone of a league title outside of Germany.

But we still have a slim chance.

The scoreline of 1-0 is not that relevant to that theory anyway unless Barca always score first and oppositon rarely ever score.

That idea would be same if 1-0, 2-1, 3-2 up etc when go ahead by 1.

Its not some revolutionary idea that clubs should keep clean sheets...
Yeah, it's not. Except Flick seems to place very low importance on this area.

From 1-0 man Xavi to someone who can't keep a clean sheet to save his life. It just shows that there are merits and flaws to each approach.

Dont think he does but he thinks they will win more matches playing the way they do than if went more defensive.

Barca bigger issue if anything was the amount of chances they have been missing in last couple months.

Yeah, which is why I called him a bold manager. It takes guts to not be interested in one of the most effective weapons against smaller teams. Only Barca play like this from the big 2 leagues. I don't count Bundesliga because it is much easier to be heavily attack oriented when nobody it the league knows how to play on the defense.

Much prefer the team playing like this than way likes of Xavi managed. Just far more entertaining to watch.

Yeah, if it builds up to something important, it's worth it clearly.

How we finish the season is important. Wether our form is in a crescendo or will continue to oscilate altering great stuff with horrible patches.

Personally prefer watching Barca attempting to win like this and in style that is entertaining.

If they fail so be it but absolutely wont be thinking would rather they approached games like Xavi.

They go again and try to win in style.

I respect that and it's why I'm willing to give this manager a go for more than 1 season even if we fail on both big objectives.

That's why Xavi 22-23 approach wasn't sustainable for long anyway, and even he knew that.
