Not his fault that Xavi's tactics were just 10 pages of cross and insha ala.
I find it fascinating personally that Xavi had Simeone's number and Flick is constantly sucker punched. Now if you had a manager that could have the vision of Flick offensively, but would also know when it's time to go pragmatic... that would be amazing.
Flick sticks to his guns and wants to beat Simeone at his most comfortable brand of football. Maybe he will get it done, maybe Simeone is just skilled enough to respond to that decisively.
Slot doesn't hold a candle to Flick's offensive game btw. Barcelona is a far more dangerous team going forward than Liverpool.
