A club can't make a fan group, what is this nonsense? A fan group is created by the fans, not by the club. They are probably planning to make some stupid American style cringe "fans", not real ones.

I don't really follow ultra' scene in Spain but I'm sure Basque clubs have real fans, not some artifical fan group created by the club, they are too pridefull for nonsense like that.

105k fans just singing a random song, with a roof will be intimidating.

The lack of a roof really impacted the atmosphere at the old CN

True but that will happen like 5 times per match if we don't have a fan group who leads the chants for 90 minutes.

It isn't nonsense at all. All ultra groups around Europe are closely infused with the club there are supporting. In some countries, like France and Italy they are integrally linked with the top brass ownership of the club, moreso than even Spain. How do you think they are allocated specific stands and seating if they are not working in tandem with club leadership??

They liaise with the club in regards to tifos, banners, flares and are let in early to organise such. This is well known throughout Europe and even here where Gaspart was complicit with Boixis Nois and would give them free tickets and other privileges, and Laporta would not.

FloPe did the exact same thing as well, when he kicked out Ultras Sur and brought in his own group that he knew would show him unbridled loyalty. Which I suspect is what Laporta might have in mind.

Yes existing fan group can cooperate with the club but that groups were created naturally, by fans coming together to support their club. I know we'll never again have real ultras and top atmosphere in CN but I hope for at least something better than the shit we are seeing and hearing right now, it's like a graveyard. Don't really trust Laporta to make it better, probably worse.

Slightly worried that we continue to play less direct and more possession based than in the start of the season.

Could be fatigue, could be the increasing pressure, or just Barca naturally gravitating back into our default style.

Still winning so maybe fuck it, but I miss those lethal counter attacks we had just managed to get right.

Apparently, Flick has asked the club not to buy a CF because he wants to continue with RL9. Time for a Barca Forum meltdown. 😂 😂

As reported by Fichajes, Hansi Flick has informed Barcelona’s top hierarchy including Joan Laporta and Deco to not sign a striker in the summer. The German coach believes in Robert Lewandowski and doesn’t want the club to waste resources unnecessarily.

Club is working on that. Of course it all depends on people actually singing, but the club wants to ensure the logistics and conditions are there in the first place.

This was sent to Socis a couple of weeks ago:
We are contacting you to inform you that with the idea of thinking about the new animation space at the Spotify Camp Nou, the FC Barcelona Board of Directors has approved the start of a process of consultation and participation to design what should be the main lines of this space, as well as the configuration, objectives and dynamics.

This process has various forms of participation: meetings in small groups, medium format meetings and online participation based on a qualitative questionnaire.

The composition of the groups will be weighted by guaranteeing the presence of ticket season holders from the different areas of the stadium, non-season ticket members, as well as attending to the diversity of ages and gender.

Exactly type of thing club would put out whether Flick wants a CF or not.

Lewa was always going to be at Barca at least until end of contract.

I know, it's sounds horrible. You can't make a real fan group with questionnairs, meeting, online participation....And the last sentence seems like we'll have some woke trans queens cheering our club. This can sound good only to someone who has no idea how club fans work.

This isn't about any of that you write.

Hard disagree.
Old CN was a blast even in the upper stands where I usually got the seats for cheap.
Except for Signal-Iduna, Anfield, and Celtic Park, I wouldn't take a single stadium atmosphere over CN.

I'll take your word for it, but due to no roof, it doesn't translate on TV, when compared to lets say those 3 you named.
