In the interview he said in training we create a lot of chances, but don't take enough, so he's looking forward to lewa joining.

Prepare for lewa to start every single game he's fit this season

To be fair we are missing the whole forward line. Faye is probably the best scorer there.

Lol

No more fati shame 😤
Dani Rodriguez scored against France for the u19 btw.

He genuinely looks the best attacking player in the squad this tournament for them.

The bar is pretty mid mind you, but good for him/us none the less.

PS. It's 1am so too lazy to make a thread for him. Also if you you the extended highlights pretty much every Spain action is him.

Yea I saw that,I've been watching the euros, he looks a very solid player, won't be anything special, but maybe one for the squad.

But Spain's superior technical level still won out, what he is trying to say?, we should play more like a small team, rounding all around the pitch to make up for our technical deficiencies?...... 🤔

I assume the point he is trying to make is that great effort can somewhat compensate for being inferior to the other team technically, and that you cannot win without combining the two as Spain did.

He brought the roid stash with him or no?

Because that's the only hope there is of making Lewa look competent

he is still trying to learn spanish, he hopes in 1-2 months he is able to speak with everyone

Then you just have a dude standing upfront neither pressing nor offering a threat behind. There’s no way to make him work or mitigate his weaknesses.
If there is somebody that can get Lewy to work it is Thiago and Flick. The question is if you have the right tools for that in the squad. Thiago played hundred of matches behind Müller and Lewy with Pep, Ancelotti, Jupp, Kovac and Flick.

He's 36 in August. You don't make that work in top football. He may nail a finish or two, but overall will be a massive weak spot for us - like Ronaldo...

And it doesn't matter whether he drops deepm, stays upfront or Thiago holds his hand.

Father time is indeed undefeated, the hope is flick's high octane football, will have a bunch of runners around him to offset his inability to move as efficiently as he once could.

If it works he'll probably end up scoring more goals than last season, but his performances won't be much better.

He certainly cannot do any pressing from the front and all that jazz

It's very important that he learns it as fast as possible. We have many young players who don't speak english very well, or even at all. Thinking about Lamine, Balde, Gavi, Pedri. Flick needs to shape them, for this he needs to be able to talk to them directly, not through an interpreter.
