I don't see Flick as the issue. Even today early goal was players sleeping and Teks brain fart has nothing to do with the manager.
Motivation is something that comes from within. If the players don't have it, it's not Flicks fault. Did a good job when we were 10 men down.
It's a shame the players have let him down in the league.

One example of the huge difference Hansi Der Meister Flick has made compared to the amateur coaching last season:

He has made us monsters IN TRANSITION! Something never seen before...
3 goals tonight on transition.
Madrid supposedly a transition-team found themselves looking like lost children

Yeah. I don't want to make this win about Xavi as it should all be about Flick.

BUT...

You can see why Laporta, a serial winner mentally, pulled the plug when he heard Xavi utter the words that there was no money and we couldn't compete without signing anyone.

Last SuperCopa Madrid bombed us 4-1 and he played this lineup

--------Pena--------
Araujo-Kounde-Christensen-Balde
--------Gundagon-Frenkie------
---Ferran-Pedri-Sergi Roberto
-----------Lewy-------------

Bench: Cubarsi, Casado (who?), Oriol, Fermin, Lamine, Felix, Guiu, Roque

Flick just smashed Madrid with

------Szihxsihy---------
Kounde-Cubarsi-Inigo-Balde
-------Casado-Pedri--------
-Lamine-Gavi-Raphinha----
----------Lewy--------------

Bench: Araujo, Eric from marketing, Martin from accounting, Fermin, Frenkie, Olmo, Pau

The second one is significantly better than the first 😆
Yamal and raphinha anyone?

Not remotely comparable.

Edit also one Casado>>>>>>>>>>>>de jong.

He's doing a very good job in the big games so far. Basically won them all by putting on a show except for AM where we missed from all positions. Where we have to work is against smaller teams where the intensity we play with is not as high. If we learn to keep the ball better in those games, learn to pick up service 1-0 and 2-0 wins when the team is tired... we can come back in the league also.

Difference is literally yamal and raphinha who scored 3 of the 5 goals we had today lol.

And a DM not named de jong.

The 2nd team is miles better than the first, due to those 3 massive upgrades.

Xavi could have started Lamine though mate. He was starting that point of season but Xavi preferred Bob out wide.

As said, the difference is perception. Gundy was actually good at that point as was Frenkie.

But Flick made Casado and Pedri bonafide pivots. Xavi, a lifelong midfielder and started his career as pivot, couldn't see it and just wanted a signing.

Not claiming I have an awesome eye for talent, but even I said years ago Pedri will be his best at pivot and the other Jammy was like "aaarrrgh neeeeeuuuuuuu, nevvvaaaa", and I quit the debate after a few pages.

But the major point is, no signings started, and we smashed them a second time.

Well done Flick.

Against Atleti was our best game of the season.
Should have been 8-0

Don't look at the scoreline, look at what happened in the game

Yamal and Raphina were playing last year under Xavi

It's how you use them. The 'perception' as Porque said.

Hard to get for a Xavi fanboy

I hear you, but casado like you yourself said, probably needed a extra season in the B team.

This casado is miles better than anything de jong did for us in years.

Pedri is more playing as a proper CM, than a pivot TBH, double Pivot, but he's very much a CM running the game, but I get what you were getting at.
