Because like the great joan laporta, I'm teflon in this bitch.

Horatio being desperate for a W as usual.

You claimed Barca would get hammered if tried this high line in big games... Calma.

Used to argue against anyone who said Barca have better squad than likes of you think while purring over Real Madrid.

Now acting as if were correct all along.

Usual.

Hansi about Barca-job: ‘Right from the start, I've been very happy to be here, working for this club and with these players. Everyone enjoys playing football. I love that. We work professionally and follow our path. It's good to see how the team and the players are improving. I want to take a step forward every day. At the moment, I'm really enjoying being a coach here. I also want to say something after I mentioned Real Madrid and Barça in the last press conference: I respect Real Madrid, of course, including Carlo Ancelotti. Carlo is one of the most successful and best coaches in the world and, of course, a great person. I have the greatest respect for him. I never have anything negative towards him or the club. I just want to say that we are Barça and maybe different from them. And that's good, that makes me happy. What I'm experiencing here is great. You can feel that it's a family. Players, coaches, staff - everyone. It's a big challenge for a coach to bring everyone together. At the moment it feels very good. I like that and that's why I'm happy here.’

What a difference from Xavi acting like he has the toughest and most stresfull job on planet earth and the pressure making it harder for him than any other coach.

One of his list of excuses.

Flick is complete breath of fresh air in ever way from how he speaks in press, how he acts towards players and positive energy he gives off.

Best thing Laporta has done was finally see what so many on here said about Xavi.. his team and how much more Barca could get out this squad and expect.

What will be interesting to see is how his first true transfer window this summer will go

He’ll benefit from a season under his belt with a squad of youth, new found FFP room to go into the market for any additional key targets and a board that will deliver. How much, how little, what sort of profile will he seek - have all the potential targets already been linked to the club as a target or does he have others in mind we have yet to even consider?

Still say Nico & Ratiu make the most sense

Just to put it in perspective...

United's most famous, treble winning 1998-1999 team scored ~130 goals in ~60 games in all competitions. And this was the United side people used to chant: "Can Manchester United score? They always score".

Hansi has surpassed that output by 10 goals already in 15 less games

His understanding of the attacking phase of the game is genius. Just genius.

Perhaps the road to 190 goals isn’t so hard after all. 51 goals left to go in potentially 16 games isn’t so far fetched after all….

Pedri: "Hansi Flick is entirely responsible for our performances. We imposed a different style of play than last season, especially in terms of the defensive line and the pressing we apply. He imposed his way of competing on us, and he succeeded in transferring it to the team."

I think we'll end up with somewhere around 170-180.

Because these last 16 games (if we end up playing that much) are going to be versus top teams for the most part. But who knows, Hansi has dropped 4 or more goals on the likes of Bayern, Real Madrid x 2, Atletico Madrid

That wasnt a chant it was the commentary in the CL final and more down to how many late goals they scored in big games that treble winning season.

Man Utd were scoring more goals in league etc over the next few seasons.

Heynckes on Flick in a joint interview, 2020: "Hansi has a gift of empathy and ability to communicate. Football is not just about technicality and physicality, the soul is as important. Knowing how to deal with the players and the staff is fundamental, and Hansi has excelled when it comes to that.”
