Harry Kane

President of FC Barcelona
Levy is as in charge then as he is now.

He is in charge, but that doesn't mean he cannot be overruled by the actual owner of the team.

That said he most likely just didn't want to sell to City unless it was for something absurd like 150m.

Levy and Tottenham played it all out completely wrong after the 2019 CL final. IMO it was huge luck they faced inexperienced Ajax in the semis, but still the club was at its highest reputation probably ever. Could wonder whether it's the financial debt around the new stadium, just like Arsenal who struggle since their move in 2006.

He could have got that two summers ago and sold him to City and had the money in a much better market than now.

Since then they have scraped top four then not even in Europe next season.

Not sure has been some great stance on Kane from Spurs.

They have delayed the rebuild and in a worse market and did not get a whole lot from keeping him.
I completely agree, Levy is just a master of delaying the inevitable like what happened with Modric and Bale before Kane, then failed miserably at rebuilding the team when the signs were there.

His only saving grace is he actually got a fee rather than Kane just joining anywhere he wanted next season.

Harry Kane to FC Bayern, here we go! Deal completed between all parties as Kane has given final green light 🚨🔴

Tottenham to receive €100m fixed fee plus add-ons up to €20m package.

Kane will sign a four year deal, he’ll fly to Germany today.

Medical booked. Done deal.

It is what it is. Hope Kane flops big time at Bayern.

At least Levy kept firm and forced Bayern to fork up a lot of money for someone who has one year left in his contract. Earlier reports said 120m including add-ons, the latest one says 110m including add-ons, makes no sense that Levy and Spurs delayed the transfer yesterday only to charge Bayern less in the end.

You’ve won CL 2 times in last 2 decades of being “strong”

Bookies odds mean jack shit Lmao.
is 2 decades the default time stamp on barca forum; you could just say "You’ve won CL 2 times in last DECADE of being “strong”, which is BTW one time more than Barca, that as many here claim, had the best player ever in this time.

It's a good transfer.

Bayern get a world class #9 who will bag them plenty of goals for the next 4-5 years to continue the Bayernliga monopoly. Kane will be guaranteed some domestic trophies to his name and will also get good shot at the CL as well.

Probably the most ideal high profile transfer in awhile.

I am really surprised Bayern went for this. Waaay too much money. The only way they get their money's worth is if he wins them one or two CL.
At the moment everything is rotten with football. I'm surprised Madrid didn't go for him. He would have been the perfect replacement for Benzema.
Instead they are infatuated with ninja turtle.
