Messi won fuck all with Argentina and played subpar finals, until eventually he won a continental and world title. Robben used to be a choker, but he played his heart out in 2013. I am not worried about his past, I gladly take a class 30yo striker that is hungry. He will finally get to with a different team now, with players that can actually compete for stuff and he will not have to do it all alone.

Messi had dominated and won 3 CLs before those Argentina titles came.

  Deluded that you're even making this comparison

Yeah but his demons were always with Argentina, that's the point. Only have to look at the disparity between his performances with Argentina, and the games he had with PSG same season. That was a different Messi, driven entirely by ambition.

Still can't believe what a good deal Bayern made. Sold a 34 year old choker to Barca for 50 mil and got a 30 year old top 2 striker in the world, who just had his best scoring season for 100 mil.

Kane could have been a Barca player now if the club was not run by idiots for the past 10 years.

Kane is far better than Lewa but not sure when Barca could have signed him.

One thing I do know, is bayern with Kane is the team to choose on FIFA seasons, lol.

Those bastards are generally so OP on FIFA, Bayern just beats everyone, even if you have them down 2 with minutes remaining & Kane scores everything he touches in the 18 yard box.

Don't see Bayern getting a CL soon. They are vulnerable to teams like City in particular. Had many problems vs technical teams that don't get scared by their supposed speed and physicality. Bayern are a bit of a flat-track bully. Always likely to hammer teams that are not very good, but somehow things go usually wrong for them in the big fights vs big and in-form teams on the European front. Quite a bit like Barca. They need a special generation to get a CL title.

Bundesliga is irrelevant, sadly. Most of the fans in that league are probably closeted Bayern fans come Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

Guardiola has figured out modern CL tactics ala RM way.

He will be hard to beat IMO. I can see Bayern being City's yearly victim. Just like they were RM's yearly victim in that 14-18 stretch.

Bayern met City early after beating PSG and finishing top of group.

That is not some failure this season.

They were far better than City than likes of Real were and on last seasons form would fancied them to pump Real.

Would have them 2nd favs for CL.

Nobody gives a shit about favorites. Bayern last year got sent home by fecking Villareal. Madrid would have hammered them. Madrid is 2nd to City atm, remains to be seen how they do without a classic no9.

Arsenal is coming from behind challenging the top 3 of Europe. Liverpool also are coming from behind, a scenario that suits Klopp.
