It's simply his form is terrible , the same FK mistakes everytime he stands far away everytime he concedes ...

He stood on the right and Messi whipped it into the left corner, this time he stood on the left and Messi went for the right. The first goal you conceded was Pepe's fault and the second Messi's fault IMO.

Did you ever see a keeper put the wall to cover the far post with the FK so close to the box? It'd be a clear shot for Messi. So left or right has nothing to do with it. He just stands so far away and puts the wall way too close to the side he's covering when he's facing a technical FK taker.. Tonight he didn't get away with that because he stood in the spot where he could neither see anything because of Barca players in the wall, nor react fast enough to try and save it..

And you can't even limit this to FKs this year. He just makes such schoolboy mistakes this year, Valencia, Ajax, in other times his usual stuff where he gets away with poor decision making and we fortunately do not concede..

This is not the normal Iker. He needs competition. Adan will do fuckall. He doesn't even need to put any effort in the practice since Jose already stated he'd play in the Copa.

He stands pretty wrong for all free kicks not just Messi , it's a weak point of his through out his career (along with long shots ) and it's being exploited ..
It's not the first time i can recall Seville's Renato , Del Piero (several times ) Juninho etc

I defended him before but even look at City game.. Iker is great but he is not in form this season and this is costing us points

It's not just him that does this during free kicks, but I've noticed before that his first step is to the side the wall is not covering, before he's even judged where the ball is going. The advantage is that he obviously has the head start if the free kick goes that way, but if it's going over the wall it leaves him wrong footed straight away. I've no idea why keepers take this risk. If a player can bend one over/round the wall into that corner then you just have to hold your hands up.

Talk about shooting fish in a barrel. How can you generalise cules so easily when theres hardly anyone who defended Casillas here. Except Ubernujfer, but he says a lot of outlandish stuff anyway. Both Casillas and VV have been performing below their level this season.

I actually love how madridista's are taking gigantic dumps on Iker and those same posters always question cules loyalty and respect to their own players. Casillas really didn't do anything that bad, fair enough he could have stopped messi's FK but that was great FK at the same time, 50% of the time that was a goal.
