Even though I like the kid, I just can't see him playing in our 3 man attack on the wing. We need a goal scorer for that position, and Muniain, for all his other qualities, just isn't one. I guess it could change when playing for a team that creates more chances, but for now, I'd much rather have a Villa-type player on the wing. Thing is, there's not many of those around these days. Anyhow, when Villa gets back to form next season and Alexis hopefully can stay fit for more than a few weeks at a time, this shouldn't be much of an issue.

That was a disappointing showing from him, personally. He was energetic, but he was anxious and more often than not overdid things, made poor decisions and misplaced passes. Felt bad for the lad, but this 'll be a learning experience for him.

I was actually more referring the 'excelent' to his warrior attitude. He did indeed not have a superb game, but that doesn't matter to me. The heart he showed yesterday was something I really liked.

The whole Atletic team was a bit off yesterday quality-wise, but as a 19-yeard old he really tried to carry them on. I like.
