Got nothing to do with steep decline and everything to do with Xavi.
People just don't turn to shit in 3 or 4 months because of age. It's the manager who 8d the issue.
Xavi would make Mbappe look like a washed up 35vyear old.
Don't think so. Look at Dembele.

As the commentator during the game said, he's probably already regretting the move, lol. He was very good under Klopp, and world class under Guardiola. Players of his class don't just revert to being mediocre between seasons... The problem is Xavi might very well coach any quality out of him as he did to many players already.

Gundogan wasn't the star player under Klopp or Guardiola. He was a good player in a very well oiled machine with other good/very good players surrounding him.

This time he has Xavi and a mediocre squad who look like they don't know each other even after 2 seasons of playing together.

Gündogan did not take the creative part in that midfield - that was de Bruyne. And the one with the big passing range and the defensive skills was Rodri.
Gündogan was the levelheaded guy in that midfield that added sometimes some goals (again coming from behind when others were occupying the defenders) with a very good conversion rate.

He is not very creative, does not really think defensively, is not the passing machine like a Kroos - and is not dynamic at all.

Yeah, right. Now he's shit.

Barca forum at its best. Captained City to a treble but he didn't do shit at City.

What is it with some retards that choose to make statements based on what they see on Flashscore?

Gundogan being captain and scoring some important goals last season doesn't make him the star of the team.

Rodri, KDB, Haaland were all more important. Gundogan was good for them, but not someone they couldn't do wihtout. And he never was a player that you build a team around. A good player in some very good teams.
