There are some clubs who would buy Gundo this summer but he wants to stay at Barca - elite mentality ! :quemiras:

He'll stay another year and 100% leave next summer.

Depends on the fitness of Gavi, Pedri and Frenkie but if all are fit I doubt Gundo will be starting many games come spring.

Well, he is still good, only consistent player last season.

Him staying one more season is not bad at all.

He seems like guy that will not be leech.
Agreed. Contract is out in 2025 anyway, there is an optional year if both him and club agrees, so there's no risk of him leeching if club wants him out.

Gundo was the only reliable player in our midfield last season. The only one without injuries playing all games and being motm in many of them. It would be insane to sell him this summer. Next summer going to be another story of course.

Gundo is in a stacked position.. is 34 and if were to sell him for say 15m that is +33m odd on the books.

It would make perfect sense to sell him this summer and club would 100% but he wont agree to it regardless.

Question is who would pay that much when he is free in a year.

Turkish/SA teams would pay what would think.

They can wait a year but also would want him now and more years of him.

I think Barca would even let him go for free but there would be those willing to offer a fee.

He won't leave nor does the club want to sell him, or should they sell him.

He was our best player last season, will probably be top 5 this season, and he's someone the coach can communicate with in the engine of the team.

All signs point to him staying and it makes sense he does.

You're welcome
Don’t see him go to Turkey to be frank. A bit of a mess over there with stalling of salary payments and unhinged board members. Think that’s stuff that annoys =]*{ out of him. He’s always been a stand offish regarding Turkey. Or at least very different than Ozil. Never appeared in talk shows, but maybe not comfortable speaking Turkish. Mentality wise think he feels too German to properly fit in. Can see him go to SA(if crazy salary).

He'll probably secure the bag in S.A or qatar, on a free next season.

Link up with KDB somewhere in the sands.

The club would sell him and for good reason...he woudnt go.

18m for Gundo at 34 with no positive impact on books if leaves in a year.. of course they would sell him when have Pedri, Fermin and Olmo.
