Barca fans put their City Treble Tinted glasses on and fell in love with their shiny new Turkish toy. But those of us who remained detached, saw a player that regularly gave the ball away in dangerous areas, who provided little to no help in defending and who has a slow, fast aging, body type.

Getting his wages off the books will do wonders, but more valuable than that is the fact he won't take a place in the starting line up ahead of players that are clearly better than him. He's simply not worth a place in the team these days, especially in a position we are so stacked in. Pedri, Gavi, Fermin, Olmo, even Frenk, are all better. But if he stays, you know Flick will pick him.

Him playing over Bernal or Casado, stunts their growth as well.

Sell Sell Sell. What a Godsend of great news if the Special Olympics Sporting Department can get this over the line.
First off, you re not selling. He is likely to leave for free under an agreement.

How anybodycould consider playing a Fermin, Olmo or any player in that regard, in the current barca is tram, over a Gundogan is bewildering To say the least. I understand if his wages are high and Barca being dumb in anything called financial management, are looking for any help from even their arch rivals to bail them put.

Gundogan with one leg, is 3 times the player Fermin/Olmo/Gavi would ever be.

Would have liked to see Lewa or FDJ shipped out ahead of him but it’s clearly not gonna happen.

Club is chaos. Not sure why we signed him last year on these wages if they knew it was unsustainable.

Should have at least tried to get him to take on a salary that was sustainable

Laporta’s sporting management has been nothing short utter embarrassment.

He has more quality...but the issue is so much of a cost on the books and playing him up top of park with 36 yr old Lewa.

And then you have to factor in he would only be at club for a season then leave for no profit on books.

I doubt Barca look worse with Pedri/Olmo there than Gundo this season.

Also last season he played AM and got 4 goals from open play.. the way Flick is trying to flood box maybe fancies some whipper snappers in there.

Perhaps Fenerbache & Mourinho will jump back in late

3 years on and we still see the club forced to push exit of players they shouldn’t because those that should won’t. Deco’s revolving door policy will only make his job harder to recruit free agents since there’s no certainty of avoiding to be binned at any time

Embarrassing low for club

He's really leaving ?

Do we know what clubs are interested in him ? Are we getting a fee ?
It'll depend if he wants to leave by himself or the club is "softly" pushing him out. If he goes back to City, we probably can negotiate a lower fee for Cancelo. But I think the priority is getting rid of his wages to register the remaining players.

He also ended his national career today. Something going on in his head these couple of days.

The only way they should sign Cancelo is on a loan with no obligation.

Buying Cancelo after putting pressure on Gundogan to leave would be one step forward, five back.

He can’t press anymore. He can feck off after the shite he spewed about Barca players to Guler, in a game Barca’s youngsters won, against Real Madrid. That is a sackable offense.

All in all his mentality was right but he moaned a lot instead of being a positive influence.
