There are also rumours that Sergi Roberto and Marc Muniesa will be joining Cuenca. Cuenca is advising them to also come to Ajax. They seem to have interest in those players.

Marc Overmars is talking with Barca about it. Although I must say that Overmars currently says that Cuenca for a complete year is a bit too expensive... but I think that's just smart negotiation talk and he will stay for another year.

Ajax is the best choice to loan our youngsters. They'll be in safe hands with Overmars and De Boer.

Can anyone of you tell us what salary he receives from Barca on a years basis?
The fact is that Ajax works wits a salarycap and it would come in handy to know what the diverence would be.
I would understand if he doesn't want to loose to much..
But on the other hand he has a good chance to start a lot of games, play for the championschip (that silver plate on the previous page ) and play in the Champions League (hopefully against Barca for once, becouse we never played each other)

Seriously, he is not of the level we should aspire to be and I have absolutely no faith in him becoming that. LW; Neymar and Tello, both better than Cuenca. RW; Pedro and Alexis, with Deulofeu being the next big thing. Both better, and Deulofeu has WAY more potential.

There just isn't any room for him, I'd rather cash in on him now than have a useless player on the bench/stands only giving pressure on the payroll.

PS: And don't come to me with 'he was injured!'. I know he was, but that did and does not change my opinion. Not Barca-material, won't be.

Well my opinion is miles different than yours, he is the one who should get a spot on the RW position not Alexis and Pedro (both are crap on the RW to me) , last season Cuenca played better than Tello, he can dribble past his markers not like Pedro and Alexis who cant do squat and just pass the ball back.

I dont even know where is "Delofeu is going to be the next big thing" come from, we have had so many so called "the next big thing" and none of them turn out to be any good. Gai Assulin, Bojan, Giovani ring any bell. Dont get your hope up until you can actually see him perform.

With all these injury problems, I'm afraid his future at Barca is likely over. Can't stay fit and will definitely not break into the team over the likes of Tello, Neymar, Pedro, Alexis, and Deulofeu.
