And Ivory Coast players are so much further ahead in their season? When you get called to play for the country for the first time, its expected you try, even in a ridiculous match like this was. No wonder Lippi went for oldies if that is the best of the younger guys. I have no problem playing the younger players, its needed, but bringing along clearly mediocre players like Antonini, Molinaro etc was a waste of time.

I see no positive in Balotelli getting to play. The opposite.

Too much long ball football and wasted possession. Balotelli was very quiet apart from his free-kicks. Cassano was good, but was getting kicked around a lot. De Rossi was awful and misplaced so many passes. Also Cassano got the largest cheer from us.

maybe turn Bocchetti into a left back instead of Criscito, who hasn't been impressive at all. But yeah Bonucci despite being raw has the attitude. You know he should get somewhere. And Ranocchia is my favourite between all.
