He's a good poacher, has good goal scoring ability, but he lacks a bit of skill to be honest and creativity. He's very much like Pazzini but with a bit less technical skill, and bit more physical presence.

Hah. He's good but he's not that good.

Inzaghi's heir (the one Inzaghi himself considers his heir) is captaining the Italy U21s right now. And is thankfully back to form after a pretty nasty 18 months of growth spurts/injuries at Parma. The transfer to Genoa did him good.

Inzaghi's heir is Macheda.

annoying face.

seemingly average.

has a knack for scoring big goals at crucial moments.

SRSLY.

Paloschi the heir to Pippo? I don't see it, he's a much more well rounded player than Inzaghi.

I know the two love each other and all, but I think he's going to be a different kind of player.

PS: You seem to be a big fan..want to buy him from me in SM? :p

We'll see about Albertino (I've loved that kid since the Siena game when he scored after what...20 seconds?). Have high hopes for him. And uhm...which league in SM?

Epic League.

Actually I can't trade him for a few weeks, and I'd rather keep him, but everyone I have is available for the right price.

Brah, making something happen is one thing and to rob you in day light is a whole different game brah. Let alone, over 300 times.

well yeah, but in that sense we can only assess Macheda at the end of his career.

I mean at 19, Pippo sure didn't look like he was going to be the greatest and most magnificent thief in football history. but I'm sure there were glimpses, as there are with Macheda.

it's not a lock that he will be Inzaghi's heir (although I talk like it is, for funsies) but I think there's a good chance he will. just based on my observations of him. he doesn't see much good but he's scored a disproportionate amount of big goals already in his short career as Man Utd substitute.

I could be wrong, but I'm often not.

I don't think there will ever be another Pippo. There will always be plenty of footballers with with zero athleticism or technical skill who manage to make it through intelligence and an almost unnatural positioning sense to become top poachers but Inzaghi took it to an extreme. The closest thing right now, players like Gilardino and Pazzini rely a lot more on strength than Pippo ever did. The players in question right now to be his heir, such as Paloschi, have much more technical ability but will probably never be able to play the offside trap that well.

So no, I don't see it.

Pazzini is 100 times more talented than Pippo , Nolan.. really no competition
Gila is like him without the agility .. which stands out for Pippo career

Thing is, Gio, neither Pazzini nor Gilardino will ever come near Pippo's status.
