Stegen, Mathieu, Rakitic and Suarez were all solid for me from the get-go. But yeah, there were many fickle fans denouncing practically all signings.

Hahaha, funny how things turn out... Six months ago we all wanted Zubi hung from his balls at the top of La Sagrada Familia...

I'm still more comfortable with Braida, but he hasn't done anything yet, so we can't properly judge him...

Douglas and Vermaelen are the signings that were 100% zubi, though. The others were not his.

Yeah, but he at least had to carry the negotiations... And yes, other teams found a gold mine because of this, but the team is working so at least in terms of sporting results there's not much to complain about...

As I said, I'm relieved Zubi's out and we have Braida now...

Yes, he did. His scouts were involved in that deal. He was the one saying they had scouted him for 2 years, yada, yada. There was also mention to one of his assistants being involved with traffic.

There's a lot to complain about with zubi's direction of la masia, also about Barça's lack of a sporting project during all those years. Not to mention the rb problem we still have.

I don't know why people feel sorry for Zubi. I don't know what job did he hold before joining Barca but for sure it was a jackpot for him.
Besides, he is very fortunate not to be indicted for Ney transfer like Rosell and Bartomeu. You know, as sports director it's his direct responsibility.
Or, if he didn't know anything about that it's only a proof that he basically didn't do anything of importance with the club and was merely a puppet for the fans in Rosell's bid.

It was 21m+we are paying the wages of Denis Suarez for 2 years as part of the deal=25m euros.

Real got Kroos. I dont know if they wanted Rakitic in addition to Kroos and James?

Their were quite a bit of teams after Rakitic. From what I have read Real,City,Atletico,and even United? I believe. But in the end he chose Barcelona, City even offered 32million? and higher wages than Barca as well.
