Seems like we talked with Juve about a possible exchange with Rakitic for Bernardeschi but no agreement on it.

Knew it. There's more to this story I feel.

As for the Neymar deal, lumping Rakitic in was just a matter of convenience.

We've wanted to get rid of Rakitic far before we had the opportunity to sign Neymar, which only happened in June.

It turns out Valverde meant every word of what he said in pre-season. The years have passed, and we're moving on.

Bernardeschi was actually decent what I saw of him last season, bombing up the wing, he tends to cross a lot so not really our style.. always gives 110% though.

Barcelona still have not shut up shop this transfer window.

Arrivals/departures still being worked on. Rafinha and Rakitic with serious options to leave the club.

Icardi and Rodrigo are not wanted.

Was Rakitic called up by Croatia? I'm wondering where his head will be, especially if he has to move countries before the transfer window closes.

Either way I do not see him staying here past January, it seems the privileges he enjoyed for the past 2 years, starting every game despite playing poorly, have been vehemently severed this season.

You want to bet he will start more games than De Jong and Arthur if he stays?

I honestly don't see it. Valverde already has his experienced workhorse in Sergi, who still can run, unlike Ivan.

He's just angering the board and messing up our squad planning by staying. We have too many midfielders and we don't want to let him leave on a free. Him being stubborn and staying will not reverse their decision.

Di Marzio, one would assume, still knows his Italian market.

So an average player whose best position is very similar to Messi, Griezmann, and Dembele's best position.

It’s the board who are looking to buy him not me, I’m just saying he will more than likely play there in rotation. He’s a 40m player, we wouldn’t be getting him to replace any of those in the starting lineup.
