Jordi Grau reckons, either Vidal or Rakitic will leave this winter because they are not prepared to be sub options.

How a season started, I am not sure who will be a coach after a New Year.
The same regarding midfielders, I am not sure which 3 of them will play.

We started a season with new ideas of Frenkie, Roberto, Alena.
2 out of 3 of them are already dead as starter options.

Currently we have Busi-Frenkie-Arthur.
Let's see whether this trio will survive and for how long.

If I were Raki/Vidal, I would wait for a few more weeks.
If we'll continue losing points left and right in all combinations, their time will again come, inspite of board's ideas.

Can someone please tell me how it is possible that our utterly useless board and Valverde have allowed for such an absurd overbooking in the midfield to occur? Do our board members and Valverde not talk with our players? De Jong was signed in January. How hard can it be to sit down with the likes of Rakitic and Vidal (for instance) and tell them that their time is likely up and that they can no longer expect to have the same roles that they once had in the team? Do it privately and decently while trying to get the best deal possible for all parties involved (Barça, the player in question and the buyer).

Unbelievable if you ask me. The whole Neymar transfer saga part 3 was another embarrassment.

He also says that there is a market for them. Strange thing to say when the same useless board was unable to sell any of our midfielders this summer despite having signed De Jong for a lot of money in January and knowing fully well that the De Jong signing was a signing intended to improve the starting 11.

A bunch of incompetent clowns are running this club.

The thing is; we told them to leave but what the board wasn't expecting was for them to be such unwanted commodities. Both were on the market all summer - with the caveat they wanted to sell Ivan first and kept Vidal in the back burner.

We got an offer for Vidal from Inter but only for a loan. We asked for 20 mil, so no deal.

Likewise for Rakitic, Juve offered us a player who didn't even make their Champions League squad. Or told us to give them Rakitic plus 23 million for Bernardeschi. Again, no deal.

Going by what people say here, Ivan is pussy-whipped and his wife calls the shots, and she doesn't want him to move. Vidal has this obsession to be the first Chilean to win the Champions League (Bravo didn't get a medal), initially as a starter but since that's not happening he decided to stay put as he's on a fat contract here anyway.

So that's two ageing (32, 33) big-headed players here who don't suit our style of play (Rakitic showed last season he has no legs, and Vidal has no feet) who expect to be starters and who will kick up a fuss if they don't play much - and they've got previous.

It's preposterous squad planning; 7 midfielders for 3 spots and that's without even mentioning Puig who is 20 now and has zero hope of getting minutes.

Rak plus a bit of a cash for Bernadeschi wouldn't have been a terrible move.

Don't know why we give minutes to dead men walking when match is in the bag instead kids who would kill for opportunity to run at Camp Nou.

He is a good asset on the bench. As long as De Jong and Arthur keep on being our first choice I don't mind having Raki and Vidal on the bench. As you can see when a player is a crack he will get his chance just look at Ansu. Problem is Alena and probably Puig (at the moment) are not good enough to do the same in midfield.

The thing is; having Vidal, Rakitic, Roberto and Aleña as backups is too much. It's a pity Rakitic didn't get sold or Aleña loaned out.

The only reason in the world why Ansu got a chance is because Dembele, Suarez and Messi got injured, and we also sold Malcom and Coutinho. That's approximately a 0.00000000000000000000000000000001% chance. You just cannot say that EV would have given Fati a chance if everyone had been fit.

Alena had his chances and how did he do? Ansu showed 10x more in one and a half game than Alena did during the entire last season. The thing is when you get a chance you should take it. Ansu is the first player from La Masia after Thiago that actually showed something special on the field.

Alena or Puig or Miranda or Oriol are all great talents on paper but they still haven't showed anything special on the field and that's probably not Valverde's fault.

When did Puig get a chance?
