Now, let's move to Barca:
Frenkie-Arthur share very similar virtues (getting the ball from our half into the opponent's half, press resistance, recycling possession, nice technique).

Thats dumbing it down a lot. They couldnt be more different apart from being very good footballers.

You have a lot of good points, BBZ. Before we buy another player we need a new coach with clear ideas but more importantly a sporting department who can support him and share the same ideas. Ultimately coaches have very little to say regarding transfers. In Liverpool they have a four man team(including Klopp) who takes care of transfers, City with the same model.

We should stop hiring former players as sporting directors but get professionals.

Also, I have said the same thing regarding Arthur and Frenkie. They both like the same role and IMO we should get different roles in midfield. So it’s one of Frenkie + Arthur, a DM and a more advanced CM. That’s the most balanced. If we have to play Arthur and Frenkie it has to be in a 4231 as they have both played in the double pivots in their former clubs + nationals teams so it’s something all of their coaches have acknowledged

One of the worst signings Barça has ever made since 2000s considering how he became the worst black sheep in the team so quickly.
Loved him a lot back in his Sevilla days but should have stayed there or moved to other club.

Not even close. The Rakitic transfer has been a huge success, its not his performances who are lacking considering wage and fee. He is not up there with our best transfers: ter Stegen, Alba, Suarez, Alves... But he is easily top 10-15%, its a shame he dropped in level but the club could easily have bought another WC midfielder a year or two ago. But he will probably not leave as good an impression as he deserved with fans. Coutinho, Zlatan, Dembele are by far the worst transfers we have ever made. And in 00s and 10s Saviola, Overmars, Petit, Russian defender, vermaelen, song are coming next after the other 3. Even Griezmann is far far more worse a transfer, or Cesc, or Alexis.

We could probably have sold him for a big profit after 2018 when he just started declining.

The biggest reasons why a lot of people soured on him is not just his declining performances but his antics in the media and the leaks from him to the media to try and pressure the coach into trying to get his way again.

Dude came off as such a knob in his recent interviews by begging for a new contract, Making it sound like FDJ isn't a threat for his position and when he got benched he was complaining that it isn't fair and like his ball was taken away from him. Dude was clearly leaking shit to the Catalan media into trying to pressure Lucho first in the past and Valverde to make him a starter again.

He was never perfect as he had flaws during his best but he worked harder and seemed like a good likable guy. But since we won the treble with him and the double the following year, the guy's ego became so inflated the dude thought his shit didn't stink.

He's not the only dude in this squad I feel like this. Guys like Busi, Alba, Pique, Suarez, etc annoy the shit out of me these days.

Noone benched these entitled bitches when they underperformed. Pique, Busquets, Rakitic, Suarez.. First ones to be subbed were new guys Semedo or Arthur. Regularly.

Pathetic man management led to this.
