Ivan Rakitić

He's not even a good sub-option by the looks of it.

He plays poorly starting and being subbed on. Just gives the ball away even trying to do something simple and can't even deal with the slightest pressure.

I knew it, he will be shit on first before De Jong who's losing the ball majority of the time

Rakitic didnt really contribute anything to be shit on too heavily although got dispossessed in a pretty dangerous area once, he's just way past his best now. De Jong was poor today though.

Good thing we didn't sell this guy and replaced him with Eriksen for cheap:bartomeu::bartomeu:

Eriksen is the last player Barca need.

At Spurs he took a ton of shots and launched ball in box at earliest opportunity.

Barca need energy, movement, consistency in centre mid if front three based on Messi dropping deep.

Considering we at least maintained some sort of control until he came on for Arthur, but after we started to lose the flow of the game more and more to the point of being lucky we managed to win, I'd say him being shat on first is more than justified. At this point Puig could do a lot more with those 20-30 minutes/per game, coming off the bench for Arthur, if he can't play for 90 minutes every game. The game vs. Granada already showed that, even though that was a direct Raki-Puig sub, but still.

Vidal is used in a different way and in certain games and for certain situations, while the ordinary first midfield sub should be Puig, cause Rakitic does nothing but invite pressure on our team every time he steps foot onto the pitch. He's well and truly finished. Should've been sold last summer at the latest, even though he hasn't had a decent game for us since that 2015 Wembley final.
