he looked very good for someone who's been out 17 months and had few moments of real class. he also went in the tackles hard and received a good one from granero and survived

Thiago and Wilshere are two very different players. Also, I think Wilshere being English means everyone will automatically think he's overrated. The fact that he went toe-to-toe with Barca's midfield as a teenager proves that he's the real deal. Us Arsenal fans were raving about him since he was 15, but the English media didn't give a shit until that 09/10 season... then practically overnight went into hype overdrive.
