Jean-Clair Todibo

There is no way he will be ready to play in La Liga or big game duty over Murrillo or Vermaelen. So how much is it worth it to get him to train now vs staring next summer--single hand digit millions at most. Can offer them the middle finger, or let's be nice and throw them the peace sign (or if they want instead they can get hang ten, or love, etc).

Says Barça expects to move Todibo away from Toulouse now. He has not played or trained with the first team since November. Barça doesn't want him to continue 5 more months in isolation.

It's possible he'll be registered as Barça B player if we get him now so he would train with the first team and get regular minutes in Barça B.

It still questionable if we'll manage to convince Toulouse to sell him now though. I wouldn't offer more than 1-2M.

President is trying to make a stand to prevent future talents moving but is creating a huge mess.

Munir moved for 1m, Denis for 2.5m, Boateng for 2m. Morata 5/6m for 18 months. Yet he is demanding 10m for 6 months.

Being relegated to reserves for unsporting reasons. If Todibo doesnt end here this transfer window this case could end up in CAS.

So within less than 12 hours we will know whether Toulouse's president agrees to let him join us for a symbolic fee or whether he will waste the next 5 months. Ideally an understanding should be reached. It would suit all parties and there is no reason for us and Toulouse to have bad relations given that France is a very interesting market for us and Toulouse being next door (almost).

Other than supposed optimism there has been little concrete news of late.

Not seen what the French media is writing about this case so maybe there is some positive news there?

For 2-3 M he is def worth a punt.

Imagine if he is the next big thing at RCB and Pique’s heir.

It would be him and Umtiti for the future.

Now he gets 6 months to get acclimated and thus he can hit the ground running next preseason with the first team.

Likely trolling. Obviously Southern France (Occitania) will be beautiful since it borders Spain. Not only that it is arguably the most beautiful part of France.

I prefer Carcassonne though. Montpellier and Nîmes are not bad cities either in the "vicinity".

I don't mind him coming now for 2-3m.

Obviously not ideal but €2-3 million is pocket money and I rather pay that amount to not have him rot for the next 5 months while at the same time ensuring that the cordial ties with Toulouse continue.

Not only that, I am quite interested to see how he performs and hopefully he will get a chance to show himself for the senior or b team in what remains of the season. A move now will likewise help his integration. It is such a small amount that it really is not worth fighting over considering the above facts.
