Jean-Clair Todibo

Make him a starter for the B team, we really don't have any prospects at CB that he'd be blocking anyways and this would be a great opportunity for Pimienta to help develop another youngster. Let him train with the first team.

Guy seems too hard a worker to be wasting his life away because of some butthurt club president.

Very happy to pay that.

No doubt my dawg Todibo will appreciate Barca's effort to get him out of that prison and will motivate him to work hard and develop here.

Hes one of those physical freaks who look ready for top class football at 18/19years old. 2-3m is certainly a good investment - worst case is you get your money back.

Thats not a good thing. Thats a bad thing. Hopefully he can provide awareness, concentration, intelligence, marking as well. We dont have the time to babysit him when it comes to those skills which many physical players havent developed much in their formative years.

Really happy to hear he is moving this window. 5 months to aclimatize, work his ass off and assess his level for next season.

Tie the league up early and he can even debut before the end of the season.

Of course thats a good thing :D You can be physically strong and still have awareness, concentration, intelligence, marking etc pp. Thats talent - no idea how talented he is in footballing terms, but at least hes physically ready (unlike our Barca B defenders).

Why would it not be a good thing? Because some physical players lack in other apects? Can't reason like that.

BEcause players who depend on their physic in their youth years dont develop the other skills enough - they can just bully the weaker players with their physic. But they cant do that in pro football normally, so they will need the other skills.

That’s not the case with Todibo though.

That's not the general case. Saying that a player being physically strong is not a good thing is wrong. Per se, it's a positive. Each case ought to be approached individually. Might serve as a trend, nothing more.

Being dependent on their physique in their youth years is definitely not a good sign. We'll see what happens. No one seems to know anything about this player.
