I don't know. They've gotten accustomed to Rosell's austerity and miserly behavior when it came to signings that weren't big name, shirt sellers I guess.

It could work right now. Bartra-Pique-Mathieu-Alba, same thing really. But I trust Mathieu at LB more than Bartra at RB, despite being the defensive wingbacks they are required occasionally to go forward. Also I prefer Alves as the attacking wingback over Alba, I think he combines better with Xavi and the forwards. Just hope he's asked to stop crossing, period.

Looking to the future tho, need to get rid of the reliance on Alves, so Bartra-Pique-Mathieu-Alba might be the way forward.

Yeah could be. Plenty of options now with a versatile defender like Mathieu.

Some players are too expensive. Some players are simply not for sale(Likes of Marquinhos, Benatia, Hummels etc)

Bartra at RB is an improvisation. Lucho won't play him there when he has two RBs in the squad. That I'm sure of. I'd rather keep Alba with a more defensive role and play Alves on the right. Bartra/Mathieu/Pique and hopefully a new great CB to fight for the two/three spots.
