Joan Laporta

Laporta is in charge of a football club, not a corporation like McDonalds. His project is ultimately measured in sporting success as well, some might say to the greatest extent. It's in his right to be displeased with Koeman, he was not his choice.

If however gets his choice and the manager is not the right one, all his project will go to shit.

It's his right to be displeased with Koeman of course.
It's NOT his right to tell him what formation to play FFS

Yea, that's bullshit but IMO these are pure rumors that he's telling Koeman who and how to play. It's probably way more general than that.

Hiring Roberto Martinez is going to cost him his Presidency.

He's not the man to develop these younger players or impose a style with proper structure in attack or defence. I personally don't think he's that much better than Koeman, if at all, and he has no association to Barca. At least Koeman is a Barca legend who command some respect.

I'm all for hiring an outsider if they don't want Xavi, but it have to be someone with multiple years in mind and someone that's actually worth it. Roberto Martinez is not that guy.

Grim times ahead. That man is as dull of a manager as they get. Let's hope it's not true.

We were delt the worst hand imaginable, Koeman is not the best managerial solution by any means but the board have also been caught sleeping.

You look at the moves of the market, what we done and what we ended up with.

-Could we have used Trincao for Rafa Mir for example? Given that we ended up signing Luuk on deadline day.

-By the same token could we have gotten Hwang in the Ilaix move.

-Why exactly was Aguero signed given the fragility of the salaries.

Also if Koeman goes now then that is another 12m gone. With no clear cut managerial upgrade, and poor timing.

Rafa Mir maybe as a loan, but don't know if he agreed to that move. Laporta agreed to getting LDJ because he is easily expendable. Rafa Mir on a transfer would have been another asset that we didn't really want but would have bought just to have as bench role.

Johan Cruyff would be rolling in his grave seeing how Laporta has treated Koeman.

The president is off his rocker if he expected better results given the front 3 Koeman has to start.

Nah he wouldn't. He would be more shocked how they did not get rid of him after last season.

"Bartomeu is considering filing a motion of no confidence against Laporta, he believes Laporta is not suitable for the demands of running a modern football club, his handling of Messi's renewal is proof of this"

Stunning!

Cruyff would be more of sacking his sorry ass the first season, or not even signing him at all
