Lucho would be a mistake. Upgrade over Xavi, yes but still lacking in acumen. Lucho had prime MSN and his last two seasons were a limited success. The others are upgrades but questionable. All of them have better jobs at the moment. Why would they come here??

They've asked who I would go for as next Barca manager, I've answered.

I've also speculated on what might happen - Lucho coming in once he gets dumped out of the WC.

Poch sucks or is meh.

Tuchel is the only option but not sure how long that would work and he doesn't play style Laporta wants Barca to play.

Tuchel playing style would fit. His playing style is in a way similar to Enrique's. However, his character is a huge problem. IMHO if we need to bet on someone we should rather bet on Tuchel who is a WC manager than on Gallardo or Poch. In the end we NEED TO STOP mentioning our "style of play" since we don't have it anymore.

Alonso has only been at Leverkusen for 5 games, rest of the time he's been at the third tier of Spanish football would be ridiculous to consider him even in the summer.

The irony is that we are actually destroying our style by trying to play it at all costs.
The style of play should always be tailored to the players available. Just because our players may kill it at the junior level doesn't mean it can carry over at the senior level. Physicality and mental intensity are huge at the top level. This is something the club hasn't caught onto. They think midgets playing pretty football is the only way and always use the golden generation as a reference point.
The modern game has changed but we haven't. Hence our issues. The worst part is our embarrassment isn't over. I expect some average team will dump us out of El too

Nah Arteta wouldnt leave Arsenal and Galtier wont leave PSG... while he is your flavour of month.. until maybe PSG dont win CL and then he is another one who let Messi down.

So left with Gallardo who in reality you know next to nothing about and is unproven in Europe.

I think he will. I doubt he'll tear apart his legacy and go down together with Xavi considering Laporta never wanted him in the first place but was convinced by guys like presumably his VP, Cruyff, and possibly Alemany.

Flick or Klopp it is for me, but let's be honest what are the chances of them coming here?
Zero

One guy who is not your typical Barca DNA coach who should definitely be on our radar next summer if we decide to sack Xavi is Ruben Amorim. Might be Wolves bound after the WC though.

Agree
Exciting young manager who has built team to play great football...

Still, we should first go for Poch then for him

Why would we bet on pochetino? He managed to make a super team like psg play like crap. Stay away.
Keep xavi for the season and beg for someone more experienced to come handle this mess, if xavi can't deliver any of the available titles.

There is not a club in world that would have Xavi ahead of Poch other than a Barca that think they have a unique view of football no one else can match.

Poch will get a better job than Barca from here anyway.

Xavi would be out of a job by now if not a legend and club had no idea or plan where to go next.

Real are barely elite either even if on the CL. They just have by far the better coach that allows them to compete.

It's not rare for a club to keep their own legends in higher regard than some Pochettino or similar to his level.

I don't see anything wrong with it.

Pochettinos best achievement is to fluke to a CL final.
