The 120m sold to the German fund is nothing new, part of the 200m which was accounted for selling 49% of Barça Studios (now under Barça Vision) last year, it is simply part of the ownership changing hands from socios.com and Orpheus to the German fund. Laporta did not sell new assets that the socis have not yet approved.

However, it is concerning that every summer we are relying on selling/reselling assets in order to register players. What are we going to do next summer if we can't get back to 1:1?

The Barça Media company going public on NASDAQ via a SPAC is not a bad idea. What could be an potential issue is our shares of the new company could be diluted to 40% since under a SPAC we are supposed to take up 80% of the new company which is the holding company for everything Barça Vision, 51% of which is owned by us. We are still going to be the biggest shareholders though even at 40%. If we can raise enough capital via the SPAC and if the company becomes very successful, perhaps we can buy back some shares.

Laporta and his board said it from the start, that the club will suffer until summer 24. That's the goal they set themselves, to get the club profitable again next summer and by this goal we have to judge them. No reason in discussing the worst case for now, we can still do it next summer if necessary.
