People from Font's camp jumped sides the moment Laporta announced he was running because they knew to pick a winner
If anything the people he wanted in his project apart from a few like Toni Nadal just jumped on the bandwagon. They're the ones that backstabbed him.

Imagine being the leader that cannot even retain the team he wanted to build his Presidency around. Then he spent most of his campaign yapping about Xavi and his electronic voting reform.
From what I remember Xavi praised Font and Font had him and Jordi Cruyff in his plans. But Xavi was never member of Font's group.

Accepting a job offer that is the dream of a lifetime to manage Barca, even if it comes from Laporta, is not backstabbing. Font by that point (November 2021) was irrelevant.

Font said Xavi was basically his General Manager when appointed in the Election Campaign, and then Xavi came out and said that he respects Font as you said, but that he's not associated with any candidate directly.

I guess that's why Birdy says he backstabbed him. Understandable I suppose, but no sane person would or should rule themselves out of a job by directly linking themselves to one person.

As for Font and the other opposition right now then I have a hard time believing they'll be anything better than this board. No one is offering any solutions.

It's typical populism.

We're one terrible candidate away from going bankrupt probably if we get another retarded loser in like Bartomeu.

The way our luck goes they'll probably succeed either now or when we have elections in 2026 with an idiot winning it and bringing us on the brink of disaster again.

Meanwhile Real Madrid probably approves the changes in statutes to open up for foreign investment and have the Saudis on board with their billions with Zidane or someone as a representative for them.

Exactly. Xavi didn't care in the end under which president he could become coach. Obviously he liked Font's plan, because absolutely everything circled around Xavi and he would have gotten the complete control over everything under Font's leadership. If Font would have won the election, then the same people who are now screaming to replace Laporta with Font would have screamed for Font to fuck off together with Xavi.
You can't take them serious.

I don't want Laporta to resign if the court rules against us in the Olmo saga but to call for elections in 2025. It's only a year sooner than planned and the socios can decide if they still support this amateurish runned club or want something new. Laporta is shameless and won't do either probably.

What the heck I am reading today?
You have serious issues with logic

Blaming Font for the ones that left, and not the opportunistic, lying, selfish people that betrayed him and jumped ship.
You sound exactly like the ones blaming a rape victim for the rape, rather than the rapist

It's called leadership and inspiring those around you.

'Exactly' only in your brainwashed mind

Xavi did not 'like' Font's plan, he devised the plan along with him. And that is documented.
He publicly supported 'Si Al Futur' Font's movement very very early, even before 2020 If I remember correctly, way before elections were called

You think that any presidential candidate can use any name for any position (let alone the 'General Manager') without the approval of that person?
You can't be so gullible..

All the people listed, including Jordi Cruyff, were part of his project, and the fact that they abandoned Font the moment it was evidently Laporta was going to win the elections tells a lot about them and their character

PS: Laporta apologists are so gullible that are gonna believe whatever ridiculous distortions of facts passed over to them just to suit their simplistic narrative

Dumbo, these people bought into Font's project and were inspired, otherwise they would not be in the project to begin with

The fact the betrayed him the last moment, when it was obvious that Laporta is winning, to keep themselves 'open' to the possibility of Laporta hiring them

tells a lot about their character and their integrity, and not about Font's leadership

Nah you ride with your leader if you believe in him.

He's a weak man desperate for something he will never have.

The socios see it and have given you and him consistent Ls.

But keep trying through 😂.

Some socios are sheep (like you), but not all are

Font got 30% last time, with minimal hope against a Laporta, who in the eyes of most was not YET exposed for his clown-ness and incapability, and with his key figures in his project backstabbing him the last moment.

How much do you think he can get now after all that shitshow by Laporta?

So you're agreeing with me that he's a loser.

Thanks.
