The problem is that it looks like idiots didn't reserve Montjuic for all the matches this season.

Everybody with a brain knew CN won't be ready mid season and that Laporta was just lying like always. Looks like he was the only one who belived his own lies and that's why we'll be without stadium in the most important matches of the season lol.
This. Everybody, except our board, knows that construction works are rarely finished at the deadline and even if they are, there are usually some papers missing that push the opening back.

Idiotic by the club.

Some options for Barça to play El Clasico 'at home' in May if the Spotify Camp Nou is not ready by then: - Wembley - Chase Stadium (Miami) - Riyadh/Yeda (Saudi Arabia) - Girona's stadium - Espanyol's stadium - Metropolitano - Sánchez Pizjuan - Marseille's stadium - Lyon's Stadium - Saint-Étienne's Stadium

Maybe Laporta is not just stupid to not book Montjuic until the end of the season, this could be a deliberate play that the RFEF would finally allow matches of La liga played outside of Spain. That's even worse...

Too bad he lied about Limak having to pay us 1m per day due to delays.
We would be halfway to solving our La Liga FFP issues completely for the future as well :laporta2:

That was bullshit and used as pr stunt. The timeline we established for the Camp Nou works was completely unrealistic.

You don't finish a project of this size in 3 years lol. Not with all that extensive underground parking structure.

Just play at Bernabeu, we are more at home there than at Montjuic anyway.

I don't remember if it's here this was being discussed, can't be bothered to search.

But here is the answer to the LA Liga clubs will seek damages argument that was being put forward.

Like I and others were saying, la Liga can't retroactively go back and punish us, if olmo is unregistered in the future and thus LA Liga club could not see any sort of damages.

”In the field of sports law, when a player has a licence, and at this moment Dani Olmo has a licence to play, a match cannot be challenged, even if they may later rule in our favour.”

That's from a tebas interview today in marca.

It will just be a situation where they say from X point forward he's deregistered and that's about it.

Sources say that the recent renewals are:
Araujo from 7m gross/year to 10m gross/year
Gavi from 6.8m gross/year to 9.4 gross/year
Pedri from 9.4m gross/year to 12.5m gross/year
Inigo is extending on the same money 9.4m gross/year

That's about 18m gross more on the books for next season ALREADY...

And that does not include the new contract Lamine will get, which will be at least 7-8m gross/y
nor the new contract Balde will surely get (who is now ridiculously underpaid at 1.6m compared to other starters) which will be I reckon at least 6m gross/y

At the same time, the only money we are releasing for next season 25/26 are the 4.7m gross we are still paying to Gundo.
And the team needs serious reinforcements in the summer in several positions.

So what is really going on here?
Did FAtporta find some money and he is hiding the fact from us?
Or are more shady thing going in the background?

Could be that they dont kick in until the summer and included in FFP from then as already registered to then regardless.

Doubt it is impacting current seasons FFP.

They could make room this summer from renewals also and good chance have sell on fees coming in that could amount to tens of millions.
