He's an not very attractive lady, that the music industry overally praises and his a bit of a liberal.

The last bit explains why certain people don't like her.

Not a fan of her music, but no denying she's the most popular artist in the world right now, so not surprised they went with her.

What's up with the Swift hate? Any reason? I don't care about her, but what has she done?
Her severe lack of talent and her shameless, soulless promoting herself. Plus, she's just not that attractive (on a shallow note). If some girl is gonna be so overrated I at least want her to be stunning to look at. She isn't.

Shameless and talentless sluts being shoved down everyone's throats. Nevermind sinister agenda she's pushing on kids.
You obviously don't have a priobkem with that but I am not surprised at all.

The collaboration with Swift is excellent for both parties. Let's put aside what individuals think of Swift, that is a discussion for another day and not relevant here. What is relevant is what can she do for us?

Well she can bring all her army of fans in to our club. That doesn't mean they will become hardcore Barca fans overnight. It means that if they even develop a slight interest in ' soccer ', they will know where to come. And seeing Swift in a Barca shirt will make many of them want to buy one regardless if there is ever any interest in football at all.

The whole Spotify thing is brilliant in that regard. It's a collaboration and fan swap to generate revenue from different fanbases not even linked to football.

And we are the only ones in world football that can do it.

The position was strengthened in the previous financial results by the sale of two hotels by Chelsea FC Holdings Ltd to BlueCo 22 Properties Ltd, a deal between companies under the control of the Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital ownership.

That £76.5m sale meant Chelsea made a loss of £89.9m instead of £166.4m in their 2022-23 accounts.

Chelsea may have made an even greater gain with the sale of the women's team to BlueCo, with that 2024 transaction worth either part or all of the £198.7m "profit
on disposal of subsidiaries" mentioned in the club accounts.

Without that, Chelsea would have operated at a large loss.

----

Nothing to see here lads, Chelsea register profit after selling their women's team to themselves.

Imagine if we had the luxury of the same gaming with our vastly superior and more valuable women's team.

No way this would pass in LaLiga. Well maybe if Uncle Flo did it. But not in Catalonia.

---

But on a tangent, if we could de-load the Basketball team from the club accounts at 51-49% as that is a 40-50m / year loss maker that would be huge.

Or going by the Chelsea numbers sell the women's side 51-49% for 200m+.
