Got lucky with some key players though. He initially wanted Beckham but settled for Ronaldinho. Messi and La Masia golden generation basically landed in his lap.

Tbf had some good signings in his first term. Dunno who was the architect behind those signings but the ones he made since coming back are more duds than success stories.
