The truth is that it was never likely it would be partially reopened this season.

The club waffles a lot.

I don't buy that one bit tbh. I know from people that built houses that interior work takes a lot of time also. Maybe if they open it while not being fully done and work at it while allowing fans in.

I think two more years is a minimum until operational at full capacity. In the most optimistic scenario.

Tbf, every club has unrealistic expectations, Real Madrid expected the works at the Bernabeu to be fully completed by December 2022. Only for it to fully be completed by June 2024.
