Now listen guys...I saw the kid play on a couple of occasions, and some while ago Guardiola used to favour him on Thiago. However, I don't think he has what it takes to be a future regular. I think he'll be a fringe play at best. But, speaking from experience after monitoring Thiago for 3 years, Thiago has what it takes to be the heir of Xavi and maybe even surpass him. The only thing Thiago needs at the moment is minutes.

I still think it's too early to be too discouraged with his lack of real development from last season...He's shown he can play with the first team before so I am not going to dismiss him due to these last 5 months or so

I am not a fan,not surprised to see that Sergi Roberto is taking his place in both the B team and the First team but even Victor Vazquez is ahead of him now in pecking order in the B team?!,hoping everything is ok.

the club has given him the go ahead to find a new club, i hope he learns from his brother and doesn't go running after the money

TBH there is a better chance of him playing for us if we sold him as oppose to a loan deal. So yeah...

he's a pivot in a volante/enganche's body, that's the problem. he's too pragmatic to play in an advanced role and he's too small to play in a defensive role (where he would be much better) - it's a shame, but not unexpected. especially with Thiago showing he can pretty much do anything offensively.

Sell with a buy option seems to be the idea... Not that bad actually, but we have to try and find a club well suited for him. Shouldn't be the case of another Crosas

When I first started watching his play a couple of seasons ago, I was excited at the young prospect...But this past offseason, he looked like a player that had regressed, really...Is that enough to deem him surplus to requirements?...No but perhaps playing regular football elsewhere on the first team might light a fire under the young Mexican...The buyback option gives me comfort despite Rosell seemingly starting a fire sale at La Masia
