Because, Nolan, unfortunately most fans tend to go after instant success. Messi being superhuman also takes its blame, as he simply put the standard for La Masia graduates way above what is normally expected of them.

I still enjoy JDS plenty and really want him to go further with this team.

Jona could become a rather good pivot in the future. I dunno about playing further forward, because he's not really all that adventurous, but he's got a great ability to retain the ball. it's a shame for him that we have Busi and Badger, but I guess Badger can play at CB as well so maybe the need to sign a backup CB will be lessened? I dunno.

I speak to him a lot and tell him he needs to be patient. He’s at the best club in the world, no doubt about that, and he has huge stars for team-mates. It’s a great opportunity for him to be able to train with them. He needs to keep cool, play well for the B team and wait for his chance – which I’ve no doubt will come
