That's understandable for everyone who thinks like a child. Keita leaves, move Masch back to midfield. Problem solved. Or... how about no? We used Mascherano in midfield and it didn't work as well as we wanted. So instead of putting him back in midfield and making our game more disjointed we got another defensive midfielder with better ball playing capabilities. Song has done just fine when he's played as a DM.

if Song does well then Mascherano needs to go Propably for money to buy CB it must be either Song or Masche propably better song,both are too much in this team we dont need them both.The real deal was always CB...buying a midfielder and using him also as a defender is a really stupid idea

Masch is a good backup CB - if we buy a solid first choice CB, Masch could be Puyi's backup (being realistic, Puyol is very injury prone, being 4th choice behind Pique, '?' and Puyol will still give him game time, although I guess it's unfair on Bartra)
I'm very comfortable with Song as a squad player.

That is a relief, but let's not cheer too early. We all know at Barca what injuries are like. Adriano on the one hand and Puyol on the other. Slow recovery vs fast recovery, you just never know...

True. Alves-Pique-Masch-Montoya can work well. Might even be more secure defensively than Alves-Pique-Masch-Alba, since Montoya's more defensive.

We should be able to see it through Celta with Montoya on Lb and see how he does although it's not fair for him since he hasn't played for 2 months or more. Then see how's it gonna work with him. I think we can survive the 1st game against PSG without Alba.

It's not like PSG are that good. They're certainly dangerous, but I believe the absence of Ibrahimovic is a much bigger liability than that of Alba. On normal form, we should be able to beat them in their own stadium.

Probably Ibra will be a huge miss. Barca, on anything like their best form will beat PSG home and away.

If we play like the second leg versus AC Milan, we will paralyse them; play like the first leg and we might struggle.

Keita wasn't a good DM for us either..and considering that we have Thiago or even JDS to use them as CMs against Getafe, finding a substitute for Puyol was more urgent.

It would have been a terrible blow. Now it won't be as bad, although arguably still the one player you wouldn't want to injure himself (not counting Messi).
With that said Thiago did pretty well as a pivot, but that was in a 3-4-3.
